Privacy

Shoppingg works without an account. This page explains what it keeps and why. Last updated October 16, 2026.

What we store

  • An anonymous session cookie (sg_session, up to one year). It links your research history to your browser. It does not contain your name or email.
  • Your questions and the answers, saved on our server under that anonymous session so your recent research appears in the sidebar.
  • Shop link clicks: which product link was opened and when, so we can see which recommendations are useful.
  • Your light or dark theme choice, kept only in your browser’s local storage.

Brand communities and comments

  • Questions about a brand can be listed on that brand’s public page on Shoppingg, without anything that identifies you. Questions with an email address, a link, a phone or order number, or personal details are never shown.
  • Comments you post on a brand page are public, with the name you enter. Your email address is never shown; it is kept to stop spam and to contact you about your comment if needed. A hashed version of your IP address is kept to limit spam. To have a comment removed, email info@shoppingg.ai.

Who processes it

  • Your questions are sent to our AI model provider (Mistral AI) to understand them and write the answer.
  • Names of brands, products and stores from your question are sent to a web search provider to find their official pages.
  • The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles security, caching and basic visit analytics.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or ask for personal details. Please do not type personal information into questions.

Deleting your history

Hover over any research in the sidebar and choose delete to remove it and its answers from our server. Clearing your browser’s cookies for this site starts a new, empty session.
